For Stories:

We are accepting query letters only if you have a story you’d like to publish at Super Powers Unlimited. Stories must be 100% original (no fan fiction or potential copyright violations, please). Your story must support the science-fiction, fantasy, and/or supernatural super hero theme of our site.

In your query letter, include the title of your story, how long it is (word count), and up to five paragraphs (500 words or less) that describe the basic plot, main characters, and any super powers used.

If we’re interested in your story, we’ll ask to read it. Please only contact us with a query letter if your story is already complete, edited, and ready for publication. If we want to publish your story, we’ll let you know within 2 weeks of receiving it.

We pay all authors a one-time flat fee up front for the exclusive worldwide rights to the story. If you agree to the price for your story, you’ll digitally sign a work-for-hire agreement online. We will send your payment either through PayPal or a mailed check (your choice) before publishing your story.

For Artwork:

If you’d like to be included in our database of artists for hire (book cover art, character illustrations, website artwork, t-shirts and merchandise, etc), send an e-mail to submissions@superpowersunlimited.com, introduce yourself, include a link to your online portfolio (or attach a few recent samples), and tell us your fees/rates.

Whenever we have an opportunity available, we review our database of interested artists. If we think a project might be a good fit for you, we’ll contact you.
